  1. PM Protect is essential in offices where multiple users share the same computer. By selecting a few options in a simple user interface PM Protect keeps unauthorized users from making changes to Program Manager offering a first level security system to Program Manager.

  3. Security:
  4. It is a good idea to delete the PMProtect icon from Program manager and run the program from the File-Run menu, assuming you haven't turned of that menu choice using PMProtect.

  6. Manual Installation:
  7. 1) Copy all EXE and HLP file to your hard disk.
  8. 2) Copy all VBX, LIC and DLL files to your Windows System subdirectory.
  9. 3) Create a program icon. (See above for security options)
  10. 4) Run the program by executing the file "PMProtct.exe."

  12. Uninstallation:
  13. Reverse the steps for manual installation.
  14. Be careful not to delete any files copied to your Windows System subdirectory unless you are sure that no other programs use those files!
